Filipe Quaresma
Lisboa, 1979.
Graduated in Fine Arts, and further developed a close relationship with drawing, painting and illustration.
Worked in different projects in the fields of performing arts and cinema, in production, lighting, sound and scenography.
In 2011 joined the team that created stress.fm. Since then, has worked in its production, content management (radio) and graphic design.
Has also made numerous radio interviews and audio narrative pieces featuring numerous national and international musicians and artists.
Co-produced numerous events and projects (Multidão, Acesso/Fronteira, Redes, MATRIZ, etc) where stress.fm attempts to question the role of radio in the current days.
Nuno Torres
Lisboa, 1977.
Musician with a focus on the saxophone research, exploring a wide range of sound material through the use of extensive techniques.
Participates in several ensembles in the field of improvised, experimental and reductionism music.
Collaborating, among others, with Ernesto Rodrigues, Ricardo Jacinto, Sei Miguel, João Castro Pinto, Rafael Toral, Manuel Mota, David Stackenäs, Wade Matthews, Axel Dörner, Alexander Frangenheim, Rodrigo Pinheiro, Carlos Santos, Diogo Alvim, Cyril Bondi, D'incise, Adriana Sá, Mike Bullock, C Spencer Yeh, Shiori Usui.
Cooperated with several projects across areas such as theater, dance and visual arts (PARQUE, Les Voisins, Eye Height).
Collaborated with various radio initiatives (stress.fm, c.e.m, CPAI e Festival RadiaLx).
He was a member of the artistic direction of the ECOS/ECHOES project (2013/14) promoted by OSSO and financed by DGArtes.

Studied Mutlimedia Technics Applied to Design in 1992.
Modeled, animated and rendered for 3D animation in the 90s.
Since the millennium designed and developed, for server and client sides, iOS and Android apps, for web news portals like Expresso, Blitz, TSF, Record, DN, JN. Also worked on a contextual/social/semantic online news analyser and reaper.
Meanwhile, created a PureData audio sampler for it’s own usage in the sound performance “un/present”, with Pedro Filipe, live in Bloom - Art and Landscape, in Barcarena in 20005.
Developed a network synchronised multichannel video projection system for the public presentation of “long piece”, from Luisa Baeta, for the 6749/010.013 exebition at Plataforma Revolver, in 2013.
At the same time experiments with software and hardware in areas like audio, video, man/machine interaction and machine/environment interaction.
Cooperates with stress.fm radio in various projects and experiments since 2015.
Gustavo Costa | Musician
Born in Porto, 1976. Studied percussion, music technology, sonology, composition and music theory and is currently attending a PhD in Digital Media at FEUP, Porto on the subject of expressiveness and interactivity in computer music. His work as a musician and composer is based around underground counterculture, improvised and electroacoustic music. He has played and recorded extensively around Europe, United States, Japan, Brazil and Lebanon with John Zorn´s Cobra, Mark Stewart, Fritz Hauser, Alfred Harth, Arthur Doyle, Jamie Saft, Damo Suzuki or Steve Mackay, among many others.

Henrique Fernandes | Musician
Henrique Fernandes began his musical studies in 1992 at Escola Profissional e Artística do Vale do Ave (ARTAVE), studying double bass in the class of Alexander Samardjiev. He concluded in 2005 his degree in double bass at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo do Porto with Florian Petzborn.
Parallel to the world of classical music, he performed in several projects of experimental music such as Mecanosphere, F.R.I.C.S, Lost Gorbachevs, Two White Monsters Around a Round Table, Open Gate 5, Stealing orchestra, Colectivo BLOB, Srosh and Space Ensemble, among others. In the last years he also played or collaborated with a range of musicians and artists from different areas: John Zorn, Damo Suzuki, Mark Stuart, Dan Kaufman, Christian Wolff, Carlos Zingaro and others.
He has also developed work in the construction of musical instruments and sound objects that he uses in various musical projects or workshops in the area of musical creativity.

Hugo Martiniano | Software Designer
Lisboa, 1978.
PhD in Chemistry (University of Lisbon 2013). Research in the areas of computational and theoretical chemistry. Specializing in development and application of simulation methods for electronic properties of molecular systems in condensed phase.
Experience in setup and administration of high performance computing clusters, parallel and distributed computing, programming (Python, Fortran, Javascript), application of numerical and machine learning algorithms. Author of six articles in indexed journals and a book chapter (http://www.researchgate.net/profile/Hugo_Martiniano).
PhD Scholarship from Fundação para a ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) (2007-2011), research fellowships in to FCT projects (2011-2012 and 2014).
Lecturer (since 2009) of the Petroleum Engineering course at Instituto Piaget (chairs lectured: Computing and Programming, Computational Mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Process Simulation and Optimization, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Methods).
Collaborator at stress.fm (since 2013): hardware (raspberry pi/arduino/wireless networking) and software (web development).

Ricardo Jacinto | Musician

Lives and works in Lisbon and Belfast. Working as an artist and musician mainly focusing on the relation of sound and space. Currently pursuing a PHD at the Sonic Arts Research Center / Belfast. Graduated in Architecture at the University of Lisbon-Faculty of Architecture, and Sculpture and Advanced Visual Arts at Ar.Co / Lisbon. Graduate courses at the School of Visual Arts, New York. Musical studies at the Hot Clube de Portugal and Academia de Amadores de Música / Lisbon. Since 1998 has presented his work in individual and group exhibitions, concerts and performances, in Portugal and abroad. Has collaborated extensively with other artists, musicians, architects and performers. Founder of OSSO – Cultural Association.

Rodolfo Pimenta | Sound Artist
Sintra, 1979.
Start his artwork in 1998, directing experimental films, documentaries and video installations. In 2000, creates the project Colectivo Fotograma 24 - Itinerant Laboratory of Animation Film for Visual Literacy, an internationally awarded project of animated short films made by children and youth. In 2009/10 co-directs Wolfram, a saliva do lobo, a documentary film, in Panasqueira mines.
In 2008 integrates Canal Zero - Concert for machinery and liquid states project, in which creates images in real time and uses them as visual and acoustic instrument. Since 2012, is one of the four members of collective Dio3Stu, a laboratory dedicated on the creation of electronic instruments and sound sculptures.
